Introduction:
Ceramic gauges, also known as ceramic block gauges, are ceramic gauges. It is made of super-hard material ZrO2 with a rectangular cross-section and a pair of parallel measuring surfaces. The measuring surfaces can be bonded to the measuring surface of another block or to an object with a similar measuring surface by molecular forces, making it a highly accurate length measuring tool.
The coefficient of thermal expansion is closer to steel. Ceramic gauge blocks are not subject to corrosion and are therefore excellently suitable for the workshop. The bending strength of 800N/mm
2 is so high that there is no danger of breakage during ordinary use.
Our ceramic gauge blocks are available in grades K, 0, 1, and 2.
Features:
- The material is hard and wear-resistant, and its service life is 5 ~ 10 times that of steel and 4 ~ 5 times that of carbide. It is the material with the longest life and longest calibration interval used in measuring instruments.
- It has good corrosion resistance and can be operated with bare hands without anti-rust treatment. It can be used for a long time and no special treatment is needed for the use and storage of the bonded blocks.
- The material is stable, and the annual variation is very small, so the calibration period can be extended appropriately.
- Fine material, ultra-precise grinding, smooth surface, high research force, high precision.
- The coefficient of linear expansion is similar to that of commonly used steel materials, which can replace metal blocks and does not require temperature correction when measuring the length of steel products.
- Non-magnetic and non-conductive, can be used in special applications
